Discussion on EU - Mongolia: Forest Partnership Roadmap
As part of the Forest Partnership between the European Union and Mongolia, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, along with the National Forestry Agency of Mongolia, and the European Union Delegation to Mongolia, jointly organized a discussion event. The aim was to introduce the project's goals and measures to various stakeholders and gather feedback.
During the discussion, the OLOLT Center proposed a concentrated effort on advancing forestry science and elevating the quality of research, news, and information dissemination in Mongolia. Furthermore, stakeholders were invited to join hands in ongoing projects aimed at developing a result-driven financing mechanism for the carbon market.
